Our Mission:
To reconnect people to Christ who have been disconnected due to a negative or unhealthy experience with a church, church leader or others, and to facilitate hope, restoration and healing.
Ninety-Nine 4 One exists to:
" Create an online community that will effectively facilitate hope, strength, restoration and healing to those who have experienced a negative/unhealthy experience.
" Be a place that will aid church staff members so they don't have to be alone in difficult situation.
Our Vision:
"One person lost and alone on life's journey is one too many" (Ezekiel 34; Luke 15:4)
Our Values:
At Ninety-Nine 4 One we have certain approaches to life and ministry that we value. These values govern the way we think, the way we act, that way we respond and what we believe:
A commitment to the lost; both the non-believer and the disconnected believer
While we feel direct to seek out the disconnected believer, we cannot ignore the non-believer. Jesus clearly stated to "Go and make disciples"… everywhere. So in our search for disconnected people we will be searching for unbelievers as well. Our goal is to find anyone who is lost and alone in life's journey and present then with the opportunity to embrace the hope of Christ.
Disconnected Believer:
A person who is no longer a part of a church community
due to a negative or unhealthy experience.
The priority of a forgiving and non-judgmental attitude
People are imperfect. The church is full of imperfect people. The people who make up our members, pastors and leaders have the potential of doing things that are sinful, unacceptable, and hurtful. We must maintain a forgiving attitude when people fail. Finding health and healing from unhealthy situations cannot happen until forgiveness is embraces.
It is also important that we do not pass judgment on those fail and realize that restoration always the most important goal of Ninety-Nine 4 One.
We do not exist to point fingers or to pass judgment. We will not label pastors, churches, denominations or any individual as "good" or "bad"; "acceptable" or "unacceptable". It is not our place or is it the intention of this ministry to harbor unforgiving or judgmental ideas or attitudes.
A culture of recovery - having a healthy response to unhealthy experiences
Ninety-Nine 4 One is about having a healthy, positive perspective. Our goal is to heal not to dwell.
The importance of dependable relationships
Relationships are the key. We want to build a strong network of support for people in both good times and difficult times.
The necessity of protecting the privacy of everyone
Ninety-Nine 4 One is a safe zone. It's a place to come for hope and health without fear of exposure. Anonymity will be available if desired.
It will not be the intent of Ninety-Nine 4 One to try and expose any person, church, leader, denomination or faction for any purpose. However, if a situation arises that is unlawful or is a matter of personal safety then we will to turn these matters over to civil authorities as it is our civic duty and legal responsibility to do so.
The importance of every believer to fulfill their individual purpose in Christ
Every person has been born into this world to live out their individual purpose. We want to bring every person to a place of restoration so that they can live out their full potential in Christ. (Eph.2:10)
